THE ROLE:

The Wellfield Manager, operating within the Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT), will assume a leadership role in the
construction and operation of In Situ Recovery (ISR) mining at the Wheeler River Uranium Project – Phoenix Deposit. This
position is anticipated to transition into a full-time site-based role at the Wheeler River Project, where responsibilities will
include overseeing the ongoing performance of the wellfield and advancing wellfield drilling and construction activities through
subsequent operational phases.

Key responsibilities involve the management of project costs, scheduling, contractors, and personnel related to the wellfield
component of the construction activities. The Wellfield Manager will ensure the transformation of wellfield development
plans into actionable construction plans for drilling, completions, and surface infrastructure. Additionally, the role requires the
organization of site activities to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) while ensuring compliance with environmental
regulations, licensing permits, health and safety standards, and adherence to approved budgets and timelines.

The Wellfield Manager possess a comprehensive technical expertise in wellfield drilling and production well completions for
resource recovery, with a strong construction management skillset, supervision and quality assurance focus. With an

Additional qualifications and attributes include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in geological engineering or science, chemical engineering or hydrogeology or a related field with
specialization in ISR wellfield development and production.
  • Current registration as a P.Eng. or P.Geo. and eligible for membership in Saskatchewan.
  • Detailed knowledge of geological concepts and models.
  • Over 10 years of supervisory and project management experience.
  • Progressive experience managing workforce, capital construction, maintenance, and operational expenditures, while
ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a safe work culture.
  • Knowledge of ISR wellfield drilling and completion operations, remediation and maintenance of wellfield systems.
  • Design experience with Freeze Plants and ground freezing.
  • Solid proficiency with office productivity software, including Microsoft Office Suite, accompanied by a willingness to learn
and use other technologies and software as required.
  • Experience with both diamond core drilling, mud rotary drilling, and sonic drilling methods is an asset.
  • Proficiency with SAP, Pason Systems, DCS, CMMS and data analytics or similar software is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple
responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that promote safe, collaborative, and inclusive relationships with colleagues, vendors, and
contractors.
  • Excellent technical report writing skills, accompanied by solid verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate,
persuade and influence others.
  • Adept at managing own performance against key milestone deliverables.
  • Exhibits a commitment to continuous improvement by maintaining an open-minded approach to alternative methods and
innovative thinking, enabling effective performance in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically to effectively evaluate and resolve complex problems.

  • Ability to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and assigned.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate within the IPMT with direct responsibility for the construction and operational activities associated with the
wellfield component of the project, providing construction planning and execution expertise for the development of
strategies, standards, processes, and plans to ensure cost effective, efficient, safe, and timely project completion.
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Commissioning team to develop and safely execute stage 1 & 2 commissioning
plans and allow for progressive turnover of wellfield assets to the operations team.
  • Complete broadly defined and technically complex assignments during the wellfield construction phase of the project
and thereafter manage the operational lifecycle of the wellfield to achieve strategic business and organizational
objectives.
  • Prepare detailed plans for site works and the coordination of contractors and employees to safely execute activities, meet
deadlines and ensure quality and conformance with plans, specifications and applicable codes, and maintain accurate
records of approved variations from design drawings or specifications.
  • Lead the wellfield construction team and provide direct supervision to wellfield personnel and contractors.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the safe execution of all construction activities, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work

site is maintained and all health, safety and environmental rules and procedures are known, understood, and adhered to
by both employees and contractors.

  • Collaborate with and provide constructability support to the Project team to ensure Project development and delivery
activities achieve the scope, cost, schedule, quality, and value requirements.
  • Develop and foster cooperative relationships with key vendors and service providers.
  • Lead construction risk evaluations with the appropriate parties present for relevant and high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with the Operations, Maintenance, Environment, Procurement, Safety, and Regulatory teams and other

support teams to influence the future direction of the operation while ensure compliance with established company
protocols and policies, applicable legislative and regulatory requirements, and licensing commitments.

  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, support budget development, and create other documents or presentations
as required.
  • Build collaborative partnerships with internal teams and liaise effectively and in a timely manner with external contractors
or consultants as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as may be required.

The successful candidate shall:

  • Initially perform work activities out of Denison’s regional office in Saskatoon on a Monday to Friday schedule with
occasional travel to the project site situated in the Northern Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan.
  • Be willing and able to travel more frequently and for extended durations during the construction phase of the Wheeler
River Project to meet project demands.
  • Be willing and able to transition to a permanently site-based role on a rotational work schedule at a remote field camp
in the Northern Athabasca Basin once construction at the Wheeler River Project is complete.
  • Be responsible for arranging their own travel to a designated pick-up point on-route from Denison’s warehouse in
Saskatoon to the Project site. Denison provides meals and lodging while at the Project site and all required PPE.
  • Understand that this role is subject to background verification checks as part of the pre-employment screening
process and as required thereafter in accordance with Company policy.
  • Be legally authorized to work in Canada.
