Currently, our Equipment Performance Division is hiring Shift Control Technicians. The Equipment Performance Division will provide Operations with equipment that functions when required – each and every time. We will achieve this through effective predictive and preventative maintenance programs, leveraging feedback from our trades, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of actions to prevent recurrence of equipment failures.
The Shift Control Technician has the highest regard for safety and are responsible for maintaining systems needed to fuel and control nuclear reactors plus ancillary systems. On a shift or day basis, they are responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, modification and repair of the instrumentation, electronic and electrical equipment used to control systems in our facilities.
Successful candidates will be assigned to a specific work location onsite based on business needs. Candidates must be available to work various shift patterns as required (i.e. days, afternoons, nights) based on work group and business needs.
This is a permanent, full-time position which offers a competitive benefits, compensation and pension package and is located on site in Tiverton, Ontario.
