Job Description

Goal of the services contract:

The resident supplier quality manager shall supervise the manufacturing & assembly activities and attend to the inspections in the workshop of the supplier and potentially to the sub-suppliers facilities.

The supervision will at minimum covers: procedures issuance, incoming inspections, cutting, rolling, forming, assembly, tube expanding, orbital welding, welding, non-destructive tests, hydro/tightness tests, painting, manufacturing documentation review in accordance with applicable ASME standards and Canadian regulation.

à The target is to deliver the equipment with the associated documentation in conformance with the contractual requirements.

Main activities to be conducted in the frame of the services contract:

Coordination between the Arabelle Project Team & the supplier.
Support the supplier to issue its manufacturing documentation.
Review and approve the Supplier documents (with support of Arabelle specialists).
Monitoring of quality controls during manufacturing:

Monitor the manufacturing and testing activities and support/educate the supplier (you shall provide technical expertise);
Check the validity and the applicability of the documentation available in the workshop through execution.
Perform pre-inspections with the supplier prior official inspection with Customer.
Coordination with the Customer inspectors.
Attend to inspection activities.
Ensure the supplier inspection and test plan are continuously updated.
Track, review and sign the NDT reports, supplier quality plan, etc.
Record, manage and track nonconformities.

Ensure good EOMR compilation at each step from the very beginning.

Monitor progress of orders and identify delays or risks to schedule.
Liaise between supplier planning/logistics and Arabelle’s internal planning team.
Ensure proper tagging, packing, preservation, and shipment in accordance with project specifications.
Track material certificates, shipping documentation, and customs requirements.
Support readiness for final delivery: FAT completion, documentation closure, shipping release, etc.
Issue weekly reports with Arabelle template.

Applicable specifications (non-comprehensive):

Codes and standards : ASME VIII Div. 1, CSA B51, etc.
Canadian regulation

Requirements:

English language mandatory. Korean is a must.
Nuclear Safety Culture awareness/training mandatory.
High knowledge & experience of heat exchanger manufacturing.

Certifications on NDT and welding

Qualifications

5 days/week, around 8 hours/day (flexibility according to the load).
