Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Commercial and Project Controls Team. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction/infrastructure industry while supporting critical functions in project management, contract administration, and cost controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost analysis and reporting for ongoing projects.
- Participate in variance analysis activities.
- Maintain accurate subcontract records and track key deliverables and timelines.
- Participate in Subcontract progress meeting on the construction site.
- Support schedule updates and data entry for project tracking software.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports, including Earned Value Analysis (EVA).
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, correspondence, and reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information required for reporting and presentations.
- Provide general support to team members for ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a university or college program in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
