Job Title: Powerplant Technician II

Working Pattern: Onsite working Monday - Thursday 10-hour days

Working Location: Savannah, GA

As the Powerplant Podding Technician II for Rolls-Royce, your role will be focused on primarily supporting the Business Aviation Integrated Power Plant System podding operation and supplementing the team supporting Gulfstream’s production operation. In this role, you will need to be ability to lift engine components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

What you will be doing:

  • Comply with work scope instructions as directed by our operations and engineering groups
  • Assemble engines together with power plant and nacelle components to build integrated power plant systems and use intermediate troubleshooting logic to identify defects in components or parts
  • Access and use engine data materials such as aircraft maintenance manual, engine maintenance manual, etc.
  • Understand, interpret and apply service bulletins, FAA advisory directives and
  • technical variances when applicable
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed

    Basic Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience, OR
    • Associates degree with 1+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul
    • In order to be considered eligible for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen

    Preferred Requirements:

    • FAA Airframe & Power Plant License
    • Prior customer relations experience
    • Engine or Aircraft logbook familiarity
    • Understanding of basic to intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel functionality
