Job Title: On Wing Services Safety Specialist

Working Pattern: Fulltime

Working location: Indianapolis, IN/Hybrid

Rolls-Royce is looking for an On Wing Services Safety Specialist to join our growing team. The On Wing Services in North America provides support for large civil and business aviation customers globally. Due to the nature of this operation, this is considerable HSE risk for the employees. The primary purpose of this role is to strengthen the HSE environment thus reducing the risk to employees.

What you will be doing

With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:

  • Complete Audits (Internal and External) (local and road)
  • Conduct Safety Walks
  • Liaison between OWS, and Indy/RR Safety
  • Communications (newsletter, posters etc.)
  • MIS Focal point
  • Risk Assessor
  • Interface with civil aerospace community – Status updated, SAF coordinator, Journey to Zero Harm facilitator.
  • Investigation assistance
  • Assist Quality with process and quality audits (internal and away)
  • ALL HS&E & safety training
  • Drug and Alcohol administration assistance
  • MARS Coordinator assistance
  • 25% travel (for Safety and Quality audits and training)

Who we’re looking for:

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of previous experience in creating presentations and Microsoft Office Products OR
  • Associates Degree with 1+ years in creating presentations and Microsoft Office Products
  • In order to be considered for this position you must be a US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of industrial safety protocols
  • Familiar with aircraft maintenance practices
  • FAA Airframe & Power Plant License
  • Ability to pass an FAA required eye exam
