TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient care in a nuclear medicine setting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • \n
  • Operate gamma cameras, PET scanners, and other specialized equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • \n
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide supportive care as needed.
  • \n
  • Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and the public.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate documentation of administered doses, procedures performed, and patient responses.
  • \n
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials according to regulatory guidelines.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret and deliver timely results.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
  • \n
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required.
  • \n
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
  • \n
  • Comprehensive knowledge of radiation physics, safety, and imaging techniques.
  • \n
  • Strong communication, technical, and patient-care skills.
  • \n
  • Proficiency with imaging systems, PACS, and electronic medical records.
  • \n
