Description du poste
As part of nuclear projects, ALTEN is looking for a Mechanical Engineer specialized in metallic equipment, pumps, piping, and tanks. You will join a dynamic team and be responsible for the following tasks:
Technical Analysis: Evaluate and resolve non-conformities related to metallic equipment, pumps, piping, and tanks.
Design and Sizing: Produce calculation notes, plans, and technical documents for the design and sizing of equipment.
Standards Verification: Ensure equipment compliance with current standards (RCC, Eurocodes, NFC).
Technical Validation: Validate or modify technical solutions to meet clients’ specific needs.
Documentation: Write response sheets and detailed technical reports.
Project Management: Coordinate communication between various stakeholders (design teams, project engineers, site technicians) and manage the business portfolio.
Qualifications
Graduated from an engineering school or holding a Master’s degree (Bac +5), you have initial experience in a similar role, preferably in an agile context. You show a strong interest in the technical aspects of this field.
Required Skills
Proficiency in English in a professional environment
Strong command of design and sizing tools
Good knowledge of Eurocodes and nuclear-specific regulations (ETC-C, RCC-G, RCC-CW)
Understanding of the nuclear environment and best practices related to safety-critical activities (installations, systems and equipment, operations…)
