We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Controller to join the Materials Management Centre at Rolls Royce in Derby.

The Logistics Controller will work within Logistics on control of all warehouse movements in and out of the facilities. Logistic controllers play a key role in ensuring all warehouse processes are followed correctly.

What you will be doing:

  • Carry out investigations on stock losses and gains and depending on value transact / seek Finance approval.
  • Manage process documentation for inbound condition of supply and parts kitting process.
  • Monitor warehouse – Review unconfirmed transfer orders, open transfer requirements and posting change notices, critical deliveries, negative stocks, interim storage stock, movement around critical stocks for production supply.
  • GRIP (Goods Receipt Problems)
  • A point of contact for kitting related activities and be the SME.
  • Change Management- Ensure effective completion of new and continuous improvement activities.
  • Improve the performance of processes to ensure compliance through standardised processes using IT to provide consistent data.

  • Able to work collaboratively within the logistics function and within the internal and external supply chain.
  • Good Knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of WHS
  • Experience of change management methods
