Overview

The Finance Systems Delivery Manager is accountable for delivering Finance Systems change, continuous improvement, technical upgrades, vulnerability management and transformation initiatives on time, within budget and aligned to business outcomes. The role partners with the Finance COE to manage overall Finance Systems IT roadmap and release plan, coordinating the end-to-end execution of initiatives from planning through to production release and BAU transition.

Your role

As a Finance Systems Delivery Lead, you will:

  • Partner with IT Project Managers, IT resources and business stakeholders to deliver Finance Systems change initiatives across EBS, JDE, Fusion and other finance applications.
  • Work with IT and Finance to maintain an integrated three-year platform plan covering strategic projects, continuous improvement, BAU enhancements, vulnerability management and upgrades.
  • Own the OneERP production release schedule, aligning upgrades and releases with project timelines and business expectations.
  • Oversee IT delivery resource planning, forecasting flexible resourcing needs to ensure the right capacity and capability are in place.
  • Manage portfolio risks, issues and dependencies, removing constraints and sustaining delivery momentum.
  • Align IT and business stakeholders on priorities, scope, value and key decisions required for successful delivery.
  • Ensure delivery complies with IT PMO governance, standards and agreed methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Manage change control and scope governance to protect delivery outcomes and maintain business alignment.
  • Manage system integrators, delivery partners and vendors to ensure performance meets contractual expectations.
  • Coordinate IT resources to support data migration, system integration testing, user acceptance testing and go-live readiness.
  • Lead service transition, ensuring timely knowledge transfer, training and documentation to support smooth BAU handover.
  • Establish support models and documentation to enable sustainable BAU ownership.
  • Drive hypercare and early-life support governance to stabilise solutions and manage post-go-live issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement and lessons learned sessions to embed best practice and improve future delivery outcomes.

About you

Essential Experience & Skill

  • Proven experience delivering Oracle projects (EBS and/or Fusion).
  • Strong programme/project and release management expertise.
  • Experience in leading acquisition integrations in line with global platform designs.
  • Experience managing platform portfolio roadmaps and release plans.
  • Experience in working with multidisciplinary delivery teams including offshore SI partner resources.
  • Proactive leadership style with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement at executive level.
  • Established Oracle network connections both within Oracle and the wider partner ecosystem.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, including international.
