When you join as a Finance Manager in Reporting and Consolidation, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity across Rolls-Royce Defence UK&I. This is a high-impact position where you’ll lead statutory and actuals reporting, manage external audit cycles, and oversee compliance processes. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, auditors, and Finance Analysts, making this an excellent opportunity to influence and strengthen financial governance across the business.

What you will be doing

As Finance Manager, you’ll play a central role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and insightful financial reporting across Defence UK&I. You’ll be hands-on with statutory reporting and audit cycles, while also supporting and developing the Finance Analyst team and driving improvements in our financial controls. With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:

  • Lead the actuals and quarterly statutory reporting processes, aligning with Group and Sector requirements.

  • Manage external audit cycles, acting as the key contact for auditors and internal stakeholders.

  • Oversee FX postings and statutory compliance, providing clear analysis and commentary.

  • Mentor and guide the Finance Analyst team, ensuring consistency and best practice.

  • Enhance financial controls, tools, and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

  • Be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).

  • Demonstrate proven experience in auditing, reporting, and statutory compliance.

  • Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Drive process improvements and contribute to wider finance projects.

  • Have experience managing and developing teams.
