The Execution Lead is responsible for the successful on-site delivery of large-scale industrial outages and maintenance projects. This senior leadership role ensures all work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The Execution Lead provides hands-on leadership, oversees multi-disciplinary teams, manages resources, and maintains strong client and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the on-site execution of complex plant outages and shutdowns.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and contractual standards.
  • Provide direct leadership and coordination of multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
  • Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, conducting audits and inspections where required.
  • Oversee scheduling and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain cost control and manage budgets, including forecasting and expenditure monitoring.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential impact on schedule, cost, and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and project managers, providing regular progress reports and resolving technical issues.
  • Participate in outage planning and scheduling, defining scopes of work, estimating resources, and developing execution strategies.
  • Drive issue resolution by identifying and addressing operational challenges promptly.
  • Promote continuous improvement, safety excellence, and efficiency across all project phases.
  • Oversee documentation, ensuring all project records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
  • Supervise Area Coordinators and ensure effective coordination across all work fronts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
  • Extensive experience in outage or shutdown project management within industrial or power generation sectors.
  • Previous senior leadership or execution management experience is essential.
  • Experience in the nuclear industry is highly advantageous.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) preferred.
