Job Description
๐ The Role
We are recruiting early-career construction-focused engineers looking to build their future in nuclear new build. These roles support the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC systems on Hinkley Point C, one of Europeโs most complex construction programmes.
You will work directly on active construction areas, supporting installation oversight, coordination, inspections, documentation, progress tracking, site queries and project delivery tasks. This is hands-on engineering with real influence, not a desk-only position.
These roles are site-based, five days a week at Hinkley Point C. If you are not local, you must be willing to relocate to the Bridgwater or Somerset area.
Qualifications
We are looking for early-career engineers who have:
๐ง NVQ Level 4, HND or Degree in construction, mechanical or electrical engineering
๐ Understanding of CDM regulations and how they apply on site
๐๏ธ Experience working in construction or other heavy industrial environments
๐ Ability to read drawings or interpret technical documentation
๐งฐ Awareness of installation methods, sequencing or construction processes
๐ค Confidence working with contractors on live construction activities
๐ป Comfortable using digital tools for reporting and coordination
๐ Willing to relocate if not within commuting distance of HPC
