Job Description

๐Ÿš€ The Role

We are recruiting early-career construction-focused engineers looking to build their future in nuclear new build. These roles support the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC systems on Hinkley Point C, one of Europeโ€™s most complex construction programmes.

You will work directly on active construction areas, supporting installation oversight, coordination, inspections, documentation, progress tracking, site queries and project delivery tasks. This is hands-on engineering with real influence, not a desk-only position.

These roles are site-based, five days a week at Hinkley Point C. If you are not local, you must be willing to relocate to the Bridgwater or Somerset area.

Qualifications

We are looking for early-career engineers who have:

๐Ÿ”ง NVQ Level 4, HND or Degree in construction, mechanical or electrical engineering
๐Ÿ“˜ Understanding of CDM regulations and how they apply on site
๐Ÿ—๏ธ Experience working in construction or other heavy industrial environments
๐Ÿ“ Ability to read drawings or interpret technical documentation
๐Ÿงฐ Awareness of installation methods, sequencing or construction processes
๐Ÿค Confidence working with contractors on live construction activities
๐Ÿ’ป Comfortable using digital tools for reporting and coordination
๐Ÿ“ Willing to relocate if not within commuting distance of HPC
