What you will be doing:

As a Capability Consultant, you will partner across the Enterprise to assess, design, and implement strategies that build workforce skills, drive learning culture, and align capability development with business objectives. You will:

  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate learning and capability programs that enhance employee skills and organisational effectiveness.
  • Identify skill gaps, design targeted interventions, and support the achievement of strategic business goals through workforce development.

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will be:

Capability Assessment

  • Identify, assess, and analyse current workforce capability levels and gaps to support business objectives.

Program Design and Delivery

  • Design, deliver, and implement training and development programs using a variety of delivery modes (face-to-face, digital, blended).

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with People Partners, business leaders, and other stakeholders to align learning initiatives with organisational strategy and priorities.

Evaluation and Reporting

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using metrics and feedback, and report outcomes to stakeholders.

Learning Culture

  • Promote and embed a learning culture across the organisation by supporting leaders and employees in their development journeys.

Resource Management

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of training materials and manage relationships with external training vendors or consultants.

Project Management

  • Plan and manage projects to deliver learning solutions on time and within budget

Who we’re looking for:

For this role you will need to demonstrate understanding of the applicable health and safety standards and we are looking for someone who is/has:

  • Proven experience in learning and development, organisational development, or a similar consulting role Strong capability to assess needs, analyse data, and identify trends in workforce capability.
  • Ability to scope, plan, and execute learning projects to meet objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement, report writing, and facilitation.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence at all organisational levels.
  • Knowledge of learning principles, instructional design, and use of learning management systems.
  • Ability to lead teams, drive change, and advocate for continuous improvement in capability development.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and responding to changing business needs.
  • Persistent, adaptable, accountable and outcome focussed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Education, or a related field
