Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be entrusted with translating complex data into actionable strategies that shape the future of our programs and processes:
- Strategic Financial & Operational Analysis: Develop sophisticated financial models and conduct deep-dive operational analyses to evaluate the viability and performance of defense programs and commercial projects. You will identify trends, forecast outcomes, and provide the insights necessary to optimize profitability and efficiency.
- Process Improvement & Compliance: Lead initiatives to streamline processes and standardize workflows across the organization. You will ensure that all improvements align with stringent industry-specific regulatory requirements, mitigating risk while enhancing productivity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic advisor and liaison between executive leadership, engineering, supply chain, and program management teams. You will facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure strategic alignment and drive consensus on critical initiatives.
- Data Visualization & Storytelling: Harness the power of data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) to transform complex datasets into clear, compelling visual narratives. You will present these findings to diverse stakeholders, making intricate information accessible and driving informed decision-making at all levels.
- Enterprise Systems Integration: Collaborate with IT and operations to optimize the use of ERP/MRP systems, ensuring data integrity and that these tools effectively support business processes and reporting needs.
Qualifications & Experience
Basic Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a proven track record in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries (e.g., manufacturing, nuclear, medical devices).
- Technical Acumen: Mastery of financial modeling and data analytics, utilizing advanced functions in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated experience in operational analysis and process improvement, with a deep understanding of how operational changes impact financial and compliance postures.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and non-technical audiences alike.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid grasp of the regulatory, operational, and supply chain dynamics specific to the aerospace and defense landscape.

- Domain Expertise: Direct experience supporting government contracts (FAR/DFAR familiarity), defense programs, or commercial aerospace projects.
