We are looking for a Procurement Specialist 60% (m/f/d) at our location in Fällanden.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities in line with supplier management requirements.
  • Monitor the entire supply chain within the assigned purchasing area for designated suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate data maintenance in SAP and Smart Buy systems.
  • Participate in handling supplier part complaints in collaboration with the Quality Department.
  • Support in obtaining and evaluating quotations from suppliers.
  • Prepare for goal-oriented negotiations leading to final supplier nomination.
  • Optimize the supplier portfolio within the defined material group.
  • Act as the contact person for implementing and executing the sourcing strategy within the commodity strategy for certain suppliers.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of purchasing processes.
  • Independently manage and support material cost‑reduction projects, such as:
    • Supplier changes
    • Introduction of new product technologies
    • Material modifications

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 1- 2 years of professional experience in procurement or related field.
  • SAP Module MM (advanced proficiency)
  • MS Office (advanced proficiency)
  • Strong ability to manage conflict situations effectively.
  • Able to quickly adjust to new situations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, assertiveness, and a proactive approach.
  • Strong team player with effective time management skills.
  • Solution-oriented mindset for problem-solving.
  • Language skills:
    • English and German (minimum C1 level).
    • Any additional language is an advantage
