Job Description

Main mission:
Working in the Front Office of our clients IT's Network Operation Center (NOC), the Network and Telecom Operations Manager
Ensures the smooth running, supervision and development of the company's network and telecom infrastructures. The candidate is in charge of deploying network infrastructures within the perimeter, and liaising between telecoms operators and Group entities. The candidate must be able to travel to the Group's various sites in Belgium.

Responsabilities:

- Ensure day-to-day management of network and telecom infrastructures (LAN, WAN, WIFI, etc.).
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance actions.
- Manage incidents, ensuring diagnosis, escalation and follow-up through to resolution
- Participate in the continuous improvement of network architecture
- Document procedures, configurations and technical changes
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate network evolutions
- Supervise or coordinate suppliers and subcontractors involved in network operations
- Train and update access authorizations for industrial sites

Technical skills :
- Proficiency in network protocols: TCP/IP, routing, etc.
- Experience with network supervision tools (Spectrum, Nagios, cacti, etc.)
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow )
- Good understanding of network concepts (firewalls, VLAN, NAC, WIFI etc.)
- Asset: experience with Cisco IOS, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto or equivalent

Qualifications

Know-how :
- Technical project management
- Drafting of clear technical documentation
- Network performance analysis and optimization

Personal skills :
- Analytical and service-oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Rigor, autonomy and proactivity

Languages :
- Dutch: fluent
- French: fluent
- English: professional (written and spoken)

Training & experience :
- Minimum 3 years' experience in network/telecom operations

Habilitation:
- VCA (AIB VInceotte certification)
- Electrical BA4/BA5
- Nuclear Safety - Nuclear Security - ANS survey (state safety)
