The scope, here, is to strengthen industrial maintenance plans on critical sites by delivering high-reliability solutions for equipment and production infrastructure.
The Key responsibilities expected from our consultant might include:
Support projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution, ensuring accuracy and meeting expectations:
- Elaborate and optimize maintenance plans, including criticality analysis, failure modes, and machine breakdown structures
- Propose specific maintenance tasks and write technical instructions
- Integrate and manage the codification of equipment in the CMMS (GMAO) and adjust spare-parts stock management parameters
- Create and trigger maintenance plans in the CMMS
- Use work orders to formalize and track interventions
Support projects with rational and data-driven assessments regarding costs, quality, and timelines, providing objective analyses for decision-making:
- Identify and analyze key technical items based on on-site surveys and technical documents
- Pilot maintenance performance through KPIs by choosing, implementing, and tracking the indicators to optimize operations
- Analyze the primary causes of failures using Root Cause Analysis, Why-Why, and Ishikawa
Support projects by facilitating communication and reporting between stakeholders:
- Manage and prioritize the work backlog; prepare and plan interventions according to quality standards
- Manage spare parts (codification, stock, repairables) and plan workload according to available resources
- Train clients to use the CMMS and related systems
The experience we are actively looking for:
- Master's degree in Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience inΒ reliability methodologies (RCA, Pareto, failure modes, criticality)
- Ability to read, interpret, and modify technical drawings such as P&IDs and electrical diagrams
- Motivated by challenging and high-stakes sectors (e.g., pharma, nuclear, steel industry)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with stakeholders
- Proactive and structured, able to manage priorities and adapt to change
- Committed to safety as a top priority
- Fluent in French, with good written understanding of English; Dutch is a plus
- Valid work and residence permits for Belgium (mandatory for non-EU candidates)
- Immediate availability and presence in Belgium are preferred
