Position:Material Handler Associate
Place of Work: Orrvilon Manufacturing Division in Orrville, OH 

Holtec International seeks qualified applicants for its Material Handler Associate position to receive verbal or written instruction from the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, work with a deep focus on organizing and moving products (panels & shims) off site while maintaining an understanding of upcoming projects and campaigns, work with scheduling and leadership to ensure products are brought back months prior to the start of the upcoming campaign, create space in the building by taking future, far out projects, off site. Ensuring that we are maximizing the space we have on site at OMD, realizing that these efforts align with the 6S initiative by driving organization of product at OMD, work to ‘pre-pack’ pallets with applicable panels needed to create “Basket Kits” to help streamline work flow in waterjet leaving limited, standardize, consolidate, organize, and appropriately mark pallets/product in process, operates material handling equipment including forklift truck to pick up and deliver material in and between departments, distributes items to production workers or assembly lines. Collects, moves, stores and delivers a wide range of materials, including finished goods, fill orders from storage areas, stacks pallets, makes deliveries as directed, stacks material in storage areas and performs required inventory record keeping, work from a FIFO mentality so we can appropriately move products through the building, complete required documentation to record daily time and production, maintain work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition, perform work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements including using all required personal protective equipment, along with other duties as assigned. 

Desirable Qualifications: High School Degree or equivalent minimally required, valid Ohio Driver’s License, fork truck operation and material handling experience, 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse function; previous experience in a metal manufacturing environment preferred, intermediate to advanced computer skills and knowledgeable with computer databases and various Company provided applications, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
