We are seeking a seasoned Lead Project Manager to oversee large-scale construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout. This role requires strong leadership to manage multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will be responsible for project planning, scope definition, cost and schedule management, risk assessment, and performance tracking, while guiding teams to deliver high-quality results. Accountabilities
· Lead multi-discipline construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
· Coordinate with project leads, discipline heads, and subject matter experts across business units.
· Manage client relationships, provide timely progress updates, and lead performance review meetings.
· Maintain project scope, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics, incorporating change orders and updates as needed.
· Develop project-specific management and commissioning/testing plans with clear acceptance criteria.
· Supervise field teams and provide coaching and guidance to project staff.
· Monitor construction and commissioning progress, cost, quality, scope, and safety, ensuring compliance with standards.
· Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies; lead readiness and go/no-go reviews.
· Oversee subcontractor and vendor execution, contract conformance, and support claims or dispute resolution.
· Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future project execution.
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
· 15+ years of construction experience with progressive leadership, including at least 5 years managing multiple projects or teams.
· Proven experience with nuclear projects and EPC or general contractor contract models.
· Demonstrated ability to manage clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams effectively.
· Hands-on experience with project controls, including cost, schedule, change, and risk management.
· Strong workforce planning and team leadership skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
· Knowledge of construction labor practices, quality, safety, and health requirements; OSHA 10 or 30 certification required.
· Core skills: project governance, scheduling, cost management, risk/issue tracking, vendor management, process improvement, stakeholder communication, and organizational alignment.
· Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
· Competitive salary range: $131,960 – $205,330, plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
