Who we are!
Elementl Power, Inc. is an advanced nuclear project developer and independent power producer, building scalable pathways for clean resilient energy. We break the stalemate in advanced nuclear deployment by delivering turnkey development, financing, and ownership solutions -- empowering customers to access nuclear power without the burden of operating assets.
We are excited to add a Document Controls Manager to our team! In this role, you will stand up and lead Elementl’s Document Control and Records Management (DCRM) program, building the processes, systems, and standards that will shape how we manage documents and records across the enterprise. We are seeking someone who has successfully built a document control and records management function before, including establishing policies, workflows, and compliance practices that drive consistency and efficiency across complex projects.
You will oversee the entire lifecycle of controlled documents and records, with particular focus on supporting the Project Management Organization (PMO) through all phases of a new nuclear plant development project -- from initial site characterization and licensing through construction, commissioning, and final delivery.
Collaboration is critical: you will work closely with the PMO, Operations, and other internal teams, while also interfacing with external partners such as reactor technology vendors, EPC contractors, and facility operators. Together, you will develop and implement efficient DCRM protocols and practices that meet nuclear regulatory standards and support Elementl’s growth in the small modular reactor (SMR) space.
What you'll do!
The Document Control Manager will design, implement, and lead Elementl’s enterprise-wide Document Control and Records Management (DCRM) program, ensuring compliance with nuclear regulatory and quality standards while supporting efficient project execution.

Experiences you'll bring!
The ideal candidate will have built or established a Document Control and Records Management (DCRM) program in a complex, highly regulated environment, with direct experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or construction projects. Experience with nuclear development projects is strongly preferred. You will hold at least an associate degree, ideally in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field, and bring 3+ years of DCRM experience in the nuclear energy industry (with 5+ years preferred).
You will be fluent in working under DCRM systems that comply with ASME NQA-1 quality standards and U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations, and have knowledge of relevant NIST protocols. Experience with the Nuclear Information and Records Management Association (NIRMA) is advantageous.
Your expertise will span electronic document and metadata management, including the identification, creation, use, retrieval, access, and retention of records. You’ll be highly skilled in Microsoft SharePoint (content types, metadata, document sets, and site design), advanced in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign, and proficient in digital EDMS tools such as Egnyte, OpenText, Power Automate, and WebCenter.
Your organizational strength, time management skills, and exceptional attention to detail will ensure accuracy and reliability across all processes. Just as important, you’ll bring professionalism, flexibility, and a strong customer-service orientation, with the poise and confidence to collaborate across teams and engage with colleagues in a positive and approachable way.
If you are comfortable in a start-up environment and balance independence with teamwork, and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to train others effectively, we’d be thrilled to hear from you!
We’re aiming to find a permanent team member for this position, but we also welcome contractors who are interested in transitioning to a full-time role as we grow. The base salary range for this role is $115,000-$125,000, and has a bonus opportunity.
