Currently, our Equipment performance division has a Civil Maintainer I – Building Mechanic opportunity. The Equipment Performance division at Bruce Power focuses on maintaining and improving the performance of equipment through various initiatives and oversight.
The Civil Maintainer I is accountable for maintaining, renovating, and erecting buildings or similar structures. It includes fabricating or repairing items made of wood, sheet metal, masonry, and pipes, as well as designing, erecting, and dismantling various types of scaffolds. The role requires proficiency in operating and using power tools, equipment, and hand tools related to building trades. Additionally, it involves understanding rigging procedures, equipment, and craning techniques, as well as tools and equipment associated with scaffolding.
This is a permanent, full-time position which offers a competitive benefits, compensation and pension package and is located on site in Tiverton, Ontario.
